Now Hiring: PROJECT ARCHITECT

ddb Workshop is seeking a Project Architect for our growing team. ddb Workshop is an architecture and development firm based in Baltimore City serving clients throughout Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and Washington, D.C. We are an award winning practice with a reputation as a firm with creative solutions for various typologies, including commercial, residential, multi-family, and forensic projects.

Description: Our ideal candidate has a strong background in design and construction, is motivated to learn and excel, enjoys working collaboratively, and possesses excellent communication skills. The Project Architect will be involved in all aspects of project delivery, from conceptual design through construction administration. Primary Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Principal and other staff to satisfy project needs

• Production of design drawings, construction documents, client presentations

• Participate in meetings with clients and coordination with consultants

• Conduct site visits and surveys using personal transportation

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working at an architecture firm

• Professional license preferred

• Understanding of building codes, documentation, and construction detailing

• Proficiency in Revit; Familiarity or proficiency with SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, and 3D visualization

• Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills

• Ability to work well in a small team-oriented environment

• Aptitude for problem solving and collaboration

• Applicant should live within a reasonable commute to Baltimore City, Maryland
